There are several ways you can fund your Gatsby account, which are highlighted below. The easiest way to fund your account is by linking your bank through the App via Plaid. Just navigate to the settings tab (denoted by "...") and click "Transfer Money to Gatsby".
Several alternative funding methods are listed below.
ACH bank connections are verified via Plaid. To initiate an ACH link, just navigate to the settings tab (denoted by "...") and click "Transfer Money to Gatsby". You can then add your bank link using Plaid by providing your banking credentials.
ACH transactions are in most cases added to buying power the day after the transaction date, and typically settle within 3-5 business days, however timing may vary. Gatsby reserves the right to delay and/or withhold availability of all or part of any ACH deposits into buying power. ACH deposits are subject to a 65 day holding window prior to their being withdrawn to a secondary bank account, disbursed via check, sent via wire or by other means. Gatsby (DBA ViewTrade Securities, Inc.) reserves the right to prevent any withdrawal at their discretion. If fraud or AML issues are raised, withdrawals may be restricted at the discretion of Gatsby.
We restrict ACH deposits to a total of $10,000 every 60 days, and we restrict buying power on ACH deposits to $1,000 until they settle, which is usually 5 days. For amounts over $10,000, a wire is the best way to transfer your funds to your Gatsby account. The instructions for a wire are outlined below, and firstname.lastname@example.org can assist for any questions. ACH withdrawals are subject to a $50,000 maximum per user per day. Gatsby reserves the right to change such limits without notice.
If you're having issues, please reach out to email@example.com. Micro-deposits (more below) are an alternative way of establishing an ACH relationship. Typically, errors in bank linking are caused by a break in the connection between our ACH verification partner (Plaid) and your bank.
Micro-deposits are an alternative way to link your bank account to Gatsby. Micro-deposits create a link by making a series of small deposits into your bank account. You will need to provide us with your routing information and account number at your bank. Once we have those, we can initiate the micro-deposits. After you report the micro-deposit amounts back to us, we'll verify the connection!
To initiate a micro-deposit connection, reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll help you create the connection to your bank.
Wires are initiated at your bank, using the below information. You can take the below details and either provide them to a representative at the bank, or, enter them into the web-portal at your bank.
